Rockin Bobbie Pins

Make your own Rockin Bobbie Pins for your girls hairstyles. All you need are bobbie pins and your imagination. Use mini bobbie pins for infants and toddlers hair. These are so much fun. You can make some for every holiday or even every outfit.

                                                                                                                                                                    Buttons with loops

These are too easy to be soooooooo cute. Put the bobbie pin through the loop on the button. It is EZPZ.

Button holes

You will need some 1/8 inch satin ribbon. Cut one end of the ribbon with a diagonal cut to form a thin point. With the pointed end thread through the button starting from the back, through the front and to the back. Tie the ribbon around the circle of a bobbie pin with a double square knot. Cut off both ends of the ribbon. The hearts above are Buttons with holes and are made like this.

                                                                                                                                                                                Glue Ons

To make this type of Rockin Bobbie Pin you will need a glue gun. Hold the bobbie pin with the loop side out and facing up. Put a small amount of glue onto the loop and place what every embellishment you want on to the bobbie pin.

When using bobbie pins push them in, in the opposite direction as you want them to lay. Push in for about ½ inch then turn them and push the rest of the way in. This will not work if the child does not enough hair but in most heads this locks the bobbie pin in place. This helps the pin to stay in place and not fall out or relocate.
